Most keyboard faults are one of three things: debris under a key, a failed keyboard membrane, or liquid that got in months ago. The first is cheap, the second is a part, and the third is a board inspection. We find out which before quoting.

Questions we get asked
- One key is broken. Do I need a whole new keyboard?
- Usually not. A single key mechanism can often be replaced on its own, which is much cheaper. Bring it in and we will check before quoting.
- My MacBook keys repeat letters. Is that the known butterfly fault?
- It is the classic symptom on 2016–2019 models. If your machine is still inside Apple's service programme, take it to Apple first — it may be free. We handle the ones that have fallen outside it.
- Can you replace an Arabic keyboard layout?
- Yes — tell us which layout you need when you book and we will source the matching part.
